I am in the market for a calibration solution so I can calibrate my TV as well as those of family members and friends. Based on my experience and time, I could take it further, but I am not sure.

SpyderTV PRO looks like a good place to start, albeit an expensive place. I like the idea of having everything in one package and not having to dig around the internet to put everything together. I am interested in anyone's experience with the SpyderTV PRO pruducts. Particularly:

* What's the best way to keep the colorimeter honest without buying a second colorimeter from another vendor? Does DataColor provide a service where you can send them the colorimeter for a checkup every so often?

* How well does the direct connect feature work? Can I use it to get the ISF Day and ISF Night modes on my Pioneer PRO-FHD1?
