I have a few questions about my television. It's a Mitsubishi DLP WD-62725.

First off, I had some spiders in my television, and they left some spots that affect the image quality. I moved this weekend, and would like to clean it out before I set anything up. I am thinking of just taking the back off and seeing what I can do about cleaning it. Maybe vacuum out the dust and use a "swiffer" cloth to wipe out any big dust bunnies. Does anyone have any do's and don't's?

Second: For the last month to last two months, the image has been flickering. It will dim, and flicker, and then go to normal. Is this a sign that the lamp needs to be replaced?

Lastly, What should I do about calibrating the picture when I get everything set up in my new house?

Thanks!

1) Just remove the screen frame then use cotton cloth and your vaccum is fine. Mits sells a cleaning kit that includes a cloth and some liquid stuff. Its like $12 or something.

2) Hard to comment. Check your input connects.

3) Use PerfectColor

For calibration, AVIA and DVE are the 2 most popular.
