I have 2 Hitachi LCD RPTVs which have a good bit of overscan which is really driving me nuts. I have entered the service menu for both, but see no clear way of reducing the overscan.

Does anybody have any experience with overscan on Hitachi LCD RPTVs? I have the 50vs810 and the 55vf820.

I too have a tiny bit of overscan on my Hitachi 42" ED Plasma. I have the service menu manual printed out with all the menu items to adjust but not sure which one will take care of the vertical adjustment I need (the tickers that scroll on the bottom of the screen are a bit cut off on certain channels) Anyone know what the menu item would be called that I could look for in the manual? Is it something like TEXT_V_POSITON or VERTICAL CORING LEVEL. Im just looking at anything that has VERTICAL in the menu item. Hoping someone could help me out.
