Hi guys.
I have a Sony KDL46X2000 (46" lcd) and use the playstation 3 for my blu-ray movies.
In 90% of films, there are large black bars above and below the movie (and it makes me feel as if I am watching the film on a 20" screen lol)
In the "display mode" settings, I can select "SMART" and "WIDE" etc.
SMART=fills more of the screen but chops off parts (and you cannot see the movie details with this mode, as they are chopped off the screen)
WIDE=everything is where it should be, but i have like 7cm black bars above and below.
I realise I am going to get SOME black bars, cos the movies are 2:35:1, but are they meant to be this big.
