I'm intermittently losing all video and audio inputs and getting a blue screen on my Mitsubishi rear projection CRT set. I can display the device menu OK, but no matter which input/device is selected, I just get a blue screen. If I turn the power off and then back on, operation is again normal for an indeterminate period of time before the screen goes blue again with the same symptoms. Thinking it may be heat-related, I've completely blown out the inside of the set so there's no dust in/on any of the heat sinks, power supplies, etc., still have the same symptoms.
Anyone seen this before? I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice on where to start looking....thanks in advance.

I know you said ALL inputs audio and video, but you can confirm again?
Verify DTV input and component inputs audio and video again.
Then verify monitor out (audio).
Then check SUB video for all inputs.
Finally, verify AC3 output (make sure using digital input such as ATSC channel on antenna).
There has to be a clue somewhere in there...
If OSD is good, but both video and audio are missing, then its probably a selection signal is missing from the TVMicro to the selection IC.
Sorry, I'm pretty much a novice at this, not sure what all your suggestions and the acronyms mean.
I do lose all audio and video when the problem occurs (except for the On-Screen Displays: setup, input select, etc.). I have a DVD player and DirecTV receiver input to the set on inputs #1 and 2, I've moved them to different inputs when the problem occurs, with no change. It doesn't matter what input devices I select on the Device Menu Screen, all I get is some on-screen noise after the problem occurs.
Is there a component or PCB that could affect all inputs at once?
Thanks again for your help!
