Thinking about getting one of these myself; tested out my HV20 yesterday for the first time at the dog park and inside, left me wanting a wider FOV.

Can't complain about the freakin AWESOME PQ though :)
Legitimately comparable to cable HiDef on my front projection system.

sure thing, i got it at b&h. bhphotovideo.com. $134.95 this is the wd-43, not the wd-h43, in which they are out of stock (as everyone else seems to be). i tested my hv20 out in the house on sunday and that is why i ordered it.

thanks - now for the follow up.... what's the difference?
Both are 0.7x, 43mm, $100 price difference, your's looks to be more compact (i.e. lighter, easier to handle.)
Does the cheaper one not fully stay out the image at full wide, or is the 'H' model supposed to have superior optics 'necessary' for HD?
Can't find anything on HV20.com, except a WA shootout awaiting delivery of the H43.

Photos of your lens mounted on the cam would be cool - it can't be any bigger than the H43 I've seen, that almost doubles the size of the HV20!!

there is a thread here that addresses your question. some people think it is a marketing ploy. others think there may be a slight difference. i think it is shaped differently, but other than that, they specs look identical.
