I have a Loewe Articos 55 inch DLP television for the last 2-3ish years. 2 weeks ago the TV goes out and when I took it to the preferred repair provider I was told the lamp and lamp circuit board needs to be replaced and it will cost nearly $1,300! Mind you the TV I paid only $2,400 when originally bought which retailed no less than $6,000 across the web. Either way its crap becuase lamp life on most DLP average around 8000 hrs from what i read and I didnt even use the TV much.
My dilemma is to repair it or spend another 600-700 and get the same size TV with 1080p technology. Anyone have advice/thoughts of what the best decision to do here would be? :( :(
Thanks
