Hi,
I was talking to my integrator today about various solutions, I'm going to go with in-wall speakers. I want a clean installation, and nothing for the kids to trip over. The meridians look great, but I don't know where I can demo a pair. Has anyone here heard them? I'd be eager to here impressions..
Thanks in advance,
Justin.

Well, that presents a bit of an issue. :)

Haha, my integrator just put them into another home-guess i can have a listen there. Pricing seems quite fair here as well, around 6.2AUD a speaker..

I'm considering them as well. I would definitely appreciate any first-hand experience... The word I've received from a couple forum members so far has been very positive. I'm probably going with a 6-channel surround configuration (i.e., a single centered rear channel) due to architectural constraints.

Though I'm disappointed by the passive radiators instead of real woofers, I can't imagine a better sounding inwall speaker existing. Haven't heard it, but it's got what appears to be a better tweeter and *certainly* a better midrange than the DSP8000. The DSP though, is what makes it almost certainly without peer. I keep trying to get NHT to do an inwall version of Xd, at least for rears, but no luck to my knowledge.

Digital speakers don't work "upside down"? Salt water issues? Koalas are attracted to them, what?

The Coriolis effect causes the electrons to spin in the opposite direction. :D

Actually, I was going to help him find a place to audition those (very fine) speakers but my roledex is a bit slim for Sydney.

Thanks for the help...I'll find somewhere to audition them, gear isn't going in till April next year.
