Playstation2 to HDTV though i.link ?

Hi guys :)

I am curious if it is possible to get video/audio signal from PS2 to my Sony HDTV(xbr 960) through i.link/firewire.

I have both of my components taken already unfortunately, so this would be a great solution for me.

Has anyone made it work?

After doing some research on the web, I found that i.link was only used to set up LAN multilayer in some PS2 titles.
