Does HDDVD get a bigger push having NBC/Universal exclusive? Disney won't even commit Lost so does it hurt Blu ray? Heroes and Battlestar coming and prices on players falling could this push a lot of people to the format?

To a degree, but thats because Sony doesn't own a station and Disney isn't doing anything with CBS shows and Fox just plainly isn't doing anything. The Best thing would be making sure that every break for commercials on NBC is some kind of HD-DVD advert. Also Announcing House on HD would be welcomed as well.

We had a thread yesterday started on the topic of wanting/asking for more TV on HD

CBS = format neutral.

NBC = HDDVD

Fox/ABC = BRD.

Although, it seems Universal is leveraging their TV shows more than the BRD group is...

however, dont be fooled, Sony does own TV shows, and now all shows on a network are produced by that network.

For instance, Fox produces my name is earl on NBC, and Universal produces House on Fox.
