I can play the original Matrix but not Reloaded or Revolutions. All I get on screen is the message can't read disc. I have the latest firmware installed. They all play on my A1 but not on the 360 HD drive. I have it connected via component and have tried playing them with the 360 connected to the net and not connected by removing the ethernet cable just to try something. Any one heard of this.

Happened to me to. I simply opened and closed the drive until it played the darn thing. Got it on the fifth try I think.

This problem happened to me when I tried to play 300 after watching Smokin' Aces the first time I got my 360 add-on. What worked is that I deleted the cookies off the saves and after that, haven't had a problem ever since.

So my advice (which may or may not work, unsure): delete your cookies.

Considering that your drive won't play matrix 2 and 3 states that your drive has better tastes in movies then you do;). Hope everything works out for you, but I believe your drive is only trying to protect you.

return it. I had one that didn't player either of those without an epic battle with the eject button. Many other movies too. Casino comes to mind.

Returned it, new one plays everything I throw in it and has yet to skip.
