I have been a member of this forum and a contributor to this thread for a long time. The new AVS forum is an excellent tool to tap the pool of experience of this capable community. As far as movie reviews go it is an unedited repository of the various motivations of the wide spectrum of the membership.

I realized in participating in the contribution to the reviews that there is a way to make this tool a very very powerful asset. I read a review by someone who made sense and wasn't running any personal agenda. Then I read another by the same person and found that he had very useful balanced reviews and had similar equipment to mine. This is an excellent way for those of us who would like to skip some of the juvenile antics that from time to time contaminate this thread.

My request to the mods or administrator would be to add one more search criteria to the drop down box if possible and that would be to rank films reviewed by a particular member. I would even go as far as to limit the selection to AVS Gold members as I suspect that If you have paid for that level of membership chances are pretty good that the motivation is going to be reasonable sincere and mature. If there is a better way to achieve this I am open to it.

What a fabulous turn of events, finally this process has delivered something truly useful to this community that we can all be proud of. Thank you Mr. Bott and all who have contributed to this resource. Well done!!!!!!!
