Does the RS-1 have a sealed light path? I don't know if I am asking the question properly. Another way: Is the RS-1 prone to dust blobs like LCD pjs?

I usually smoke hookah in my theater so I was trying to see if the smoke would affect the projector. (I haven't smoked in the theater since I got the RS1). Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think that the panels are sealed, but the path isn't sealed, just filtered. Dust blobs usually arise from dust on the panels, so I don't think it will be prone to dust blobs (unless of course the panels aren't properly sealed). On a side note, how many people smoke in their theater? Does it affect the projector? Mark Petersen 06-10-07, 04:10 PM Very weird, I was just trying to figure this out yesterday. Dust blobs aren't something to be too worried about though because the panels are sealed. I wouldn't be as worried about smoke getting into the RS-1 as much as what it must be doing to your lungs :) |
