Was watching a recorded show, off my Scientific Atlantic 8300HD DVR, fast forwarded past the commercials and when I played again I had no audio. Did every combination of power cycling and removing cable both hot and cold on both devices. TV is a Philips 50PF7220A/37B plasma. Cable is a Monoprice "High Quality 24awg" 3 footer. TV is running latest firmware already, no idea on cable box, havent researched yet...

Was working fine for past two weeks.
I have no other HDMI devices or cables to test. Audio works going into the TV via RCA and works out of the cable box via RCA, so its definitly an HDMI issue.

I was convinced to go HDMI, and after two weeks I was happy, minimal cables showing. Not so happy right now... With RCA cable draped across the front of audio cabinet to my reciever...

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Matt

Have you found anything to get the audio back? If not, I'd start with the STB manufacturer/cable company for suggestion or a replacement unit.

No I have not. Have done every combo of settings between TV and Box and no luck. Haven't had a chance to make any calls or borrow a new cable or DVD player...
Hopefully this week will find some time.
