Just started watching it, and I would really like to hold out for the HD-DVDs if they are coming soon. I know part 1 of season 6 is out, but I was wondering if there's any news of them starting with season 1 soon.

I wouldn't count on it this year but mayber sometime next year. On the other hand, the regular dvds look pretty good upconverted. I would buy the dvds just because it's a great show.

couldn't find a better thread, so I'll just add that Season 6 (both halves) kicked a$$, and that seen as a whole this show is one of the most impressive creative achievements in the history of the moving image.

That ending almost gave me a heart attack! I wonder how many people around the U.S. ran to their cable boxes at around 10:04 p.m. east coast time, yelling out "DID MY CABLE JUST GO OUT????" ;)

LOL The tension in that scene was unbearable. Haven't felt like that since Micheal Myers was chasing Laurie Strode to the Wallace's house in the original Halloween.

..did you guys have brief black-outs during the ep? The funny thing is that on TMN HD, we had brief drop-outs throughout while the audio continued... So, when the last thing happened, everyone (but me) thought it was my TV (without audio, I knew it had ended...)

ps. How the hell are you going to stay spoiler free on this ending?

brilliant tv series....tops in my book.

It had its highs and lows over the entire series, but overall, it was a masterpiece.

Season's 1 and 2 were the best tv seasons ever. Last night's episode didn't disappoint me in the least.

There are very few tv series that I will be buying on an hd format. This is a definate buy for me.
