Somebody said that DVD Planet had a 20% off deal though I couldn't find anything less than DDD's prices.

Warner Home Video I think still has 20% off prices at least on the movies they control and those prices are pretty close to DDD even after Sales Tax (code wbwel still seems active though they are giving 15% off by just buying at least 2 units). The code works for preorders as well. Not quite as good as the 28-30% off from last month, but still decent.

Unless you want discs ASAP, I still think DDD will honor the 20% off on backorders just not preorders.

I wanted to order through DDDVD, but their sale isn't all that great. 20% off of movies that are priced higher than amazon ultimately works out to $1 in savings per movie since I have to pay for tax on the order. Am I the only one thinking that a better sale of HD DVDs should be coming down the line? With all these Buy 2 get one free sales BR seems to have, I'm holding out hope HD DVD will have one sometime soon too.

One other advantage of DeepDiscount is that they ship each title as it becomes available - even with their basic shipping option!

E.g. my last order involved four separate shipments... so three of those shipments were free (these were international shipments mind you!).
