First off all, I support both Blu-Ray and HD DVD. I want to buy Music and Lyrics for my wife with video quality being the deciding factor as to which format to purchase. The HD DVD is a Combo and is more expensive than the blu-ray. I don't need the standard def disc but am willing to pay extra if it's pq is better. Since the HD DVD is a Combo, do you think the blu-ray should have better picture quality? I can't seem to find any HD reviews of the two.

It is basically the same, so it comes down to which player you prefer to watch it on.

I just ordered the Blu-Ray version. Since the picture should be the same, I would rather save a few bucks and NOT support that expensive Combo crap :)

all I can say is that the SD DVD version looks terrible on my projector--which makes me eager to finally get a HD disc player!

...normally i go for the better audio, so HD-DVD, but with a movie like that i chose the cheaper way, which was Blu Ray... btw very nice PQ on that titel....
