I'm replacing the projector in an existing HT system, as the old projector died. I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect the video processor to the new projector, however.
The video processor has two possible outputs: 5-wire RGBHV or 4-wire RGBS. These are BNC connections, and there are 5 BNC cables running (through the ceiling) from the video processor to where the projector is mounted.
The old projector accepted 4-wire RGBS. The new projector has several inputs, but none appear to be either RGBHV or RGBS. The inputs include a "VGA style" 15-pin HD D-sub connector labeled "Input A", and a triplet of RCA connectors labeled "YCbCr/YPbPr".
(There are also HDMI and DVI-D inputs, but I'm guessing I can't use them until I rewire the room and get a new video processor.)
Is there some way to convert the RGBHV/RGBS output of the video processor into something the new projector can accept?
