I have the Hd-1 and Im finding every now and then i get a picture drop-out(no picture at all) for secs but the sound still works.it's happened a few times on the denon 1920 sd player, it's happened 3 times on the matrix revolutions hd and few times on the diffrent formats.sometimes it doesn't happen at all.Everything is connected through my amp via hdmi and output to the projecter via hdmi.has anyone else experinced this problem.pq still good but becomes when i lose picture and still can hear the sound!Sleep timer is off by the way and im not pressing the hide button as i have the logitech 1000i universal remote which i use and i've only kept the standard buttons.

Have you tried any other sources via component instead of hdmi to see if it replicates it?

What comes on the screen? Is it black or do you get a blue menu? It sounds like you're losing the HDMI handshaking between the source and the PJ. It could possibly be the amp in the middle of the HDMI chain. Can you bypass it and see if it still happens, then you might isolate that component as the cause.

I am now running component but want to switch to hdmi, which requres the purchase of several cables!!!
