David Chase has mentioned that he filmed anywhere from 3 - 5 different endings for the series finale of Sopranos. They may make it to the DVD of this past season, but my question is if he released all alternate endings on a single DVD/Blu-Ray/HD-DVD would you buy it?

I am not asking if you liked/disliked the ending as that is covered thoroughly in the Sopranos thread, just if you would pay to see just the alternate endings. :D

HBO is so fond of "The Making of ..." they could do "The Ending of ..."

Sorry Kevin, but you're not keeping up with the main thread. There were no additional endings filmed. HBO has debunked that one. What we saw is all we get.

In fairness, he's not the only one who thought he had read it somewhere (I had too, among others). Maybe in one of those hundreds of Sopranos-related posts in HOTP prior to the Big Finale. They were all blurring together after awhile. ;)

I am not saying it wasn't written somewhere, archiguy, just that it has been specifically refuted by HBO since the finale aired.

And if there WERE additional endings shot, one would think HBO would be getting that information out to stimulate the DVD sales.

I apologize to all, I haven't been reading the official thread (it was 10 new pages alone on Monday) and I wasn't aware that HBO and David Chase confirmed there were no other endings. I have no proof, but I am sure that prior to the final episode airing it was mentioned by James Gandalfini (sp) I believe on HBO that alternate endings were filmed so that not even the actors knew how it ended.

Anyway, I understand why the thread will be closed, but it was good to see the poll results so far. :D
