Just noticed on a couple Lionsgate new releases on blu-ray they are now showing an pcm 7.1..Think any other studios will catch on???

Just noticed on a couple Lionsgate new releases on blu-ray they are now showing an pcm 7.1..Think any other studios will catch on???

Could everyone please stop the madness = hype.

For the 1000th time: What's the point??? Original sound mix is still 5.1 - therefor it doesn't matter at all (other than wasting bandwidth).

A larger number isn't always better...

yah my ht is in a small room its kind of point less going to 7.1 from 5.1 especially when im more into listining to music...i rather waste the money on new towers which i am currently trying to upgrade :)
