Hello everyone, here is my unfinished 3rd floor. I'd like to fit maybe an 80" screen but the window is obviously an issue. I would prefer to put some type of window treatment on it as opposed to drywalling it over. The projector screen would obviously cover part of it but not all of the window. Do you think this would look bad or have any suggestions? Thanks.

Your best bet is to make a plug for the window. It fits tightly, you can make it out of layers of acoustic material etc and make it completely light blocking.

The plug is a great idea, I was thinking of something like that myself. Also, it would keep my wife quiet as opposed to me drywalling it where she'd be pissed. I was looking through many threads to see if I could find an example of a removable window plug and could not find anything one it. If anyone could point me in the right direction of a thread or attach a link then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
