“THE BLACK DONNELLYS” ARE BACK! SERIES TO PREMIERE JUNE 13 ON HDNET

Network to feature seven episodes that have never been seen on TV

HDNet announced today that the network has completed an agreement with NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution for the rights to air all 13 episodes of the acclaimed drama “The Black Donnellys,” beginning on Wednesday, June 13, at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Through the deal, HDNet acquires the rights to air the entire series, including seven never-seen-before episodes. “The Black Donnellys” quickly became a fan favorite on NBC and an online petition to save the show currently has over 33,000 signatures.

“‘The Black Donnellys’ is a great show with an incredibly loyal fan and viewer base. We are excited to air all 13 episodes, including the seven that have never been shown on TV before,” said Mark Cuban, president and co-founder of HDNet.

“The Black Donnellys” centers on a family of Irish brothers in New York
- Jimmy, Tommy, Kevin and Shaun. They are troubled youths, for the most part, except for Tommy, who has become the family's best hope.

However, when one of the brothers makes an ill-conceived mistake, Tommy's misguided loyalty to his family forces him down a path that will change his life forever.

“The Black Donnellys” will air every Wednesday on HDNet at 8 and 11pm ET
and 8pm and 11pm Pacific Time

"The Black Donnellys" marathon--the first eleven episodes--runs from 9:00AM Eastern until 8:00PM. According to the schedule, the episodes that were not run on NBC are at 11:00AM, and then 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00PM. Episodes 12 and 13 are still unaired and will appear in the regular time slots on September 5 and 12.

Highly recommended.

The last few episodes were very good, as good as anything else we saw from NBC last year, outside of Heroes and Friday Night Lights.

If only the pilot was half as good...
