Hello,

I've got on sony, yamaha onkyo and other manufacturer's web sites and i cant
seem to find an answer to whether any one makes a reciever that will play
output out of the b speakers when the input source is digital. I currently have an onkyo ht 540 which won't do it and have my computer connected to my ht system via optical cable and i would like to be able to listen to my mp3 collection on my deck via my b speaker output.

My Sony 1000ES will play everything through the B outputs.

i guess allot of the onkyo's won't play digital input on the b speakers. even the multi zoned units. i picked up a sony dg 800 and it does a great job.
