I just wanted to come on here and say that I finally got to see Serenity in HD on HBO this morning. People, this is the reason I got HD. To see brilliant programming like this. What a wonderful movie based on a great show. My only hope now is that UHD will bring back Firefly so that I can see this fine show in all it's HD beauty. :)

I think I read somewhere that they intend to repeat the series at some point this year. Certainly makes sense; a lot of people think that 'Firefly' and 'BSG' in HD are the two main selling points for that network right now.

I know that I never watched UHD until Firefly and BSG came on. Combine that with SG:Atlantis and I find that I watch UHD more than some of my favorite networks.

There is a firefly thread around here somewhere. I think that it comes back to UHD in July.

I believe Firefly returns on UHD In July!

What a great series and a shame that Fox didn't give the show a full season, good time slot, and proper commitment (supposedly the episodes were shown out of order, sometimes preempted, etc.).

I got Serenity on HD DVD, and it looks and sounds absolutely awesome, even better than when I saw it on HBO. The commentary track with creator Joss Whedon is well worth a listen to, also.
