Well, after waffling on a decision on a new set, I am nearly decided on getting a Pio PDP-4270. I'm strongly leaning to this set because of it's great PQ (that I've seen in showrooms and from a friend) and also due to the great prices now available. I had been leaning for a long time towards one of the Sony SXRDs, but the continuing reports of problems there have made me hesitant, and the wife has asked me to wait on a HUGE set until we move into a new house in a year or two, while our current room is more fitting to a 42-inch set.

Anyway, most of my research has been centered on the SXRDs until now, but I have a couple of questions about the Pio. I see the mention of a "break in DVD" that some are using. Can you direct me to a reference on that? I assume the appropriate procedures on "break in" for the plasmas are included in the FAQs on this forum, so I'll look there for details, but are there any particular warnings or advice that any of you can offer to me about this set?

Thanks!

I just picked up this TV 2 weeks ago. I downloaded and burned the break-in DVD and ran it on my TV (when I wasn't watching something) for 100 hours straight (never turned the TV off). Great PQ and black levels. Huge improvement over the ED Panny I had previously.
Here is Evangelo's website for the break-in DVD;
