It's decision time, and these two tv's look the best to me, with the Pioneer having an edge in PQ. There's a significant cost difference between the two. I'd appreciate any input on whether it's worth the extra dollars for the Elite versus the Panasonic.

IF you can afford the extra $...IF

The Pan 75 series does NOT have the anti -glare screen....the 1140 has a very good one...

I have seen both in a nice showroom and it's an easy choice for PQ....the 1140 is a 1 horse race....

IF $ is a bigger factor......then try the Pio 5070 instead.....it also has a good anti-glare screen and is a bit less than the 1140.....the 5070 also has fewer bells and whistles compared to the 1140......but either set is better than the Pan 75 series.

PS....I have the 1140....it's a fine choice, looks great with HD signals

get the new pioneer 5080, just rteleased and you can find excellent pricing from the forum sponors. It will give you a noticable improvement in PQ over the panasonic and last year model 1140. or the new pro1150 will be out next month but at higher street pricing outa the gate.
