I am in the market for a 60" or larger flat panel. Because of my TV room layout, with it's many glass doors and windows, I have to have a non-glare screen. Most plasmas, of course, have glossy glass screens. While they're great to look at, they are a problem in my room. We always struggled with glare on our former CRT.
I am not in a complete rush, as I have a 46" Mitz LCD that we use and it's fine for now (black crush issues, but that's another topic).
My question: is there, either available now or announced for future release, a plasma TV, 60" or larger screen with anti-glare screen for $6k or under? I don't mind waiting 6-12 mos if I know something worthwhile is coming.
Related: While LCDs typically have the type of screen I need (non-glare), I have yet to see a flat-panel LCD, 60+" for under $6k. If they exist, I'd appreciate the tip also.
I've searched these boards and haven't found a lot on the topic. Thanks for the feedback.
