According to Digital Bits, Sony will exchange the sub-par Fifth Element BD with the remastered (in AVC, no less). This, supposedly, applies to all current owners of the current ugly version of TFE.
If this ends up to be true, all I can say is: "Yipeeeeee!"
Will you need a receipt?
Will you need a receipt? :eek:I hope not!

I hope not. Usually when exchanges were done (I've done exchange-by-studio for Paramount, Universal, Warner) all they need is the old disc to be sent back and the new one shipped out to you.
More interestingly, during the ArccOS fiasco (of SD-DVD stuttering, not being able to play etc), there was a toll-free number you call and all you need to do is give your name and address and Sony just sent me my replacement without the need for me to ship my defective discs to them.
