Will just about any dvd recorder work on any blank dvd disks? I know it'll half to be either + or - r but I just wondered if I could use my same disks that I use for my computer dvd burnner for a regular dvd video burnner.

Unlike the audio CD's versus data Cd's when it came to stand alone CD recorders, DVD's are the same regardless of whether you use them in a PC or DVD recorder. You just have to make sure the the recorder is compatible with each specific type of DVD media (i.e +R, -R, +RW, -RW, Dual Layer and Ram).
