Has anybody used these in place of the actually component or hdmi plates? I am going to mount my lcd as was thinking of popping one of these behind the tv and running all my cables through it..seems easier.

I used a similar bulk cable wall plate to run the HDMI cable thru to keep from having a splice (continuous single cable).

No problems with the size of the plate or anything? Any problems with running your hdmi cable through the wall?
Thanks for the feedback!

Hi there, I have both the single and double gang plate. They work great in my opinion. The only challenge is that I can't fit a DVI plug through the single one.

I'm sure I saw somthing similar to this in the past here on the forum, but I can't find it. Same function, but instead of the opeing coming away from the wall, the opening was "pushed in" if you know what I mean. Anyone remember what product that was or have a link?
Thanks.
