Plus Capcom already confirmed that Dead Rising sequel is not being made.

Capcom never confirmed nor denied the sequel to Dead Rising, they simply said that it hadn't been confirmed as of press time (April 11, 2007 according to IGN).

If we get a trailer for GOW2, it'll be only CG, kind of like the Halo 3 trailer we got way back at E3 of last year. It is way too soon for there to be a sequel anytime soon. The first one hasn't been out a year yet.

Most of the stuff on that list seems doable, except for MGS coming to the 360. It has been said that this is Kojima's last game, so another game coming to 360 would be odd.

I am a big fan of the Battlefront games and Crimson Skies so I hope they pan out. Though I recall Peter Moore of someone saying Crimson Skies just did not take off as an IP and was dead.

Jason Bourne game could be interesting,I've always wanted a realistic Spy game(not the over the top stuff like past Bond Games).

The Jason Borne thing is so out of left field that I have a hard time NOT believing the list. :) Who would come up with that if it weren't from a leak?

Battlefront 3 is indeed being worked on already by a UK developer so I'm not sure how true the MS rumor is. The last word is that it was coming to all next gen consoles, no word of PC.

I thought the creator said in EGM months ago that a sequel will be in the works depending how the first game went and confirmed they are already scoping out perfect locations...He hinted at a hotel resort/theme park????

What wasnt confirmed though is will it stay exclusive and I think it is going to...

I dont think we will be seeing anything about GOW2 until well after the release of the new Unreal but thats just me.

Well everyone knows Killzone will be there for PS3, so MS needs something big to counter-act that. I think Gears 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2 would do that.

Why is Killzone even an issue? It was so hyped up from the beginning it came out and got completely **** on by every gamer and reviewer but somehow the 2nd one is better? Maybe MSFT will announce Brute Force 2. :rolleyes: That game has just been screaming for a sequel.

Killzone is an issue because of the supposedly game engine trailer they showed a couple of years ago. I think it has been discredited as in game since then but still if they can come close it would certainly be an awesome LOOKING game. How it would play would still be in question. But still if they can make it close to what they showed it would certainly get hype and would be worth a look.

Its hype for all the wrong reasons and the people who are like KILLZONE 2 WOOHOO! were probably the same ones who thought the original Killzone would be the greatest. I dont mind giving the game a look and most likely will. I just dont see how a trailer that was completely CG from the start is building up so much hype considering the last game was disastrous at least it was viewed that way once the game was released.

If Sony wants to make a blockbuster announcement and steal the show...Showcase Socom who cares if its CG once people get a look of the next gen Socom game their sales are going to sky rocket and their is a 90% chance that game wont disappoint unlike Killzone...I shudder saying that after my experience with the first one...

I can see a new Crimson Skies game, The first one was great, just wasn't that big, but the system does need some more flying games and this would be great.

Dead Rising 2 to be shown. May not be ready. Yes. If you think they are not going to make a 2nd one, then you must not have played or enjoyed the game. DR sold great and after 5 minutes of playing the game, I was hooked. DR is a great and fun game. Add Coop and it would have been even better. So I look forward to the 2nd one.

The update here says its BS, but who knows as it seems the only secrets MS can keep are ones no one gives a crp about. If its something people are interested in its usually leaked. Still, there is no reason to assume any of this is true at this time, except the obvious ones like the Fable 2 showing.

Will be a very long time before release. We all knew it was coming. It will probably be one of the last AAA games for the 360 before the 720 comes out.

Did not like the first one.

I enjoyed the first Killzone on the PS2, seems most of the people that hated it wanted another Halo-type game (ie: Quake...fast gameplay with bunnyhopping). Killzone was an amazing first person shooter, too bad the hardware couldn't keep up with it..but once you got used to the framerate, it was a super-fun shooter. Good maps, great weapons, loved being able to play as the different characters...

if that list is accurate (and im betting alot if it is regardless) thats one hell of a show....

that said something very big for ms is left out.... halo wars. we know the game is in some form of a playable state and i would expect something to be shown. unless its further off than we all thought. but you would think with the recent announcement of SCII they would want people not to forget about their little game.

crimson skies, battlefront and the jason bourne stuff would be most exciting to me because they could be "surprises". we know alot of that stuff is coming anyways regardless of what ms says..... so the exclusives have always been more important to me.

with this scaled down E3, I can see more videos than playable games or demos.
They will prob have all the holiday releases playable in some form.

as for news and/or videos, you can def expect some hot exclusives (supposedly, maybe just timed) to be announced.

Its like when things get too big for their britches, thats what E3 became. It went from companies showcasing their stuff to a big old nerd circus, a sea of fat, pasty faces with goatees and unwashed hair wearing Darth Vader or Gandalf t-shirts wandering around the floor trying to snuggle up with Booth Babes.

Then when you get uber-lameness like G4 broadcasting stuff its like "oh brother, gaming has gone Hollywood. Every game was now a Michael Bay production". :P

Yes, E3 had become overgrown. But the question is will I be able to find ANY coverage of the new E3 on tv. G4's coverage was cheesy (it could have been much better with a different lineup of 'talent') but at least you got to see some stuff on the tube which was a nice change from years past.

My advice....let a camera crew follow Geoff Keighley around as he interviews different developers. I would be very interested in that and it would not be cheesy. Of course I'm 34 and not really in the prime age range that G4TV is so interested in these days.....

Xbox 360 has an HD-DVD add-on that neutralized (up to a point) the PS3 Blu-ray advantage. Now MS is allegedly working on creating "Bourne" games exclusively for the 360. See a trend? :)

Even if they're based on the Ludlum books and not the movies MS's "Bourne" games are a way to differentiate the console and build corporate synergy between the intellectual property holders involved: Universal ("Bourne" games expand the potential movie-going base of the movies), Toshiba ("Bourne" movies are some of the few HD-DVD flicks PS3/BD owners into high-def movies are jealous for not having), MS, etc.
