I don't know about the Sharp Theatre, but for "The Bridge," Gary's a member here. His theatre is also featured in the book ManSpace: A Primal Guide to Marking Your Territory.

Art,

Coming from you that is a real compliment. Your theater is one I always show folks to give them an idea how far you can go towards perfection.

Thanks.

I agree Art has been as constant as the northern wind when it comes to inspiration. If not for Art I would still be in a "Media Room" :)

He**. I think Art's old theater is nice. Of course the new one is even better.

I agree..

I wish I had been farther along, I got contacted by the DIY Channel around the time the bridge theater was being filmed. There was a thread somewhere on the forum, they were sending emails to allot of people.

The Bridge was done for under $12k?

Holy Crap, I would have thought it was way more than that, even if it was a DIY

I actually spent a little more than that, probably closer to $15-16$ when you add carpet and chairs and some incidental stuff. I did all of the construction myself, which saved a bundle. My equipment isn't top shelf, although more than adequate for my needs.

It's a funny thing being asked to give a cost for something you did on a TV show that will air nationwide. I wanted to low-ball it in case my boss saw it so he wouldn't think I was making too much money!!
