Why shouldn't I save $150 bucks and get the ED sub? Their custom 18"/1300 watt sub they designed for my cubby space is working flawlesly....Other than superior finish on the HSU, the ED seems it would work well for my 99% music listening needs....

I know I'm new here, but have you tried the HSU? I dont know how your ED sub sounds, but if all your using it for is music, and you like the way it sounds, then dont buy the HSU, I personally think my HSU Sub is great for most, if not all my music needs, as well (especially) for my video needs.

It really depends on how YOU like to hear what you are listening to;)

I agree with you on the finish - I almost purchased an eD sub as well - but the deciding factor came down to looks - the 'boss' said no way to that finish on the eD - so I went with HSU.
