It will be time to make a sub decision soon. For speakers, I am going with in-wall LCR and SS. Would love to do an in-wall sub too, but I have concerns about vibration. My primary reason is one of keeping the room a clear space and a 3-year old at bay. I would not consider myself an audiphile by any means. However, I would not like to listen to rattles, or have dry wall nails start bubbling the paint ...
My HT is an interior room in the house. There is nothing special about the walls. It is a typical sheetrocked room, already finished out when I bought the house. I have access to all the walls and ceiling, from the attic space.
Anyone have personal experience with in-wall subs and how they interact with a wall? Vibrations? Rattles? Dry wall nails losening? Any installers with previous experience?
Thanks,
Shake1
