FrantzM 06-17-07, 08:27 PM Vancouver It is unlikely you will find numerous answers on B&O here... Aside form their ICE modules and maybe their top of the line speakers about which you may find a few threads else not a B&O-friendly crowd here... vancouver 06-17-07, 08:34 PM Vancouver It is unlikely you will find numerous answers on B&O here... Aside form their ICE modules and maybe their top of the line speakers about which you may find a few threads else not a B&O-friendly crowd here... I noticed that. Too bad becuase B&O has come out with some pretty amazing products. Yes you pay more for the way they look...and so you should. Dollar/Quality may not be up to par with most, but price aside they make some good stuff. the B&O Avente (which is unfortunatly not made anymore) was the BEST CRT I have ever seen. They did make ICE power which is used in a lot of products...some are great! Now recently I have had time with the Beolab 5s and I dont care what people say...hate B&O all you want from things in the past....these speakers sound amazing. FrantzM 06-17-07, 08:49 PM Vancouver I find the design from B&O extraordinary.. I have several of their phones all over my house and had their CRT TV, the 5500? for a while. i did not own the Avante buthave seen it, a good CRT but nothing that I would salivate over...I have not auditioned he Beolab 5 ... I would however say that the discussions here revolve around products which by several metrics some of them objective are superior to anything B&O has ever produced... I like their designs ... Exquisite Aesthetics and sometimes ergonomics but ordinary to barely adequate performance seem to characterize several products from the band IMHO...
