I went in to upgrade to an Elite today and we were talking and I got to my "I am building a HT area and he asked what I had/going to get and told me i should wait till the fall when xbox release its elite with a 1.3 hdmi.

Is this correct? If so, anyone know the release date?

Yeah I searched (using search) and 54 pages is just to much to read through right now I guess I will have to get through it over time.

i doubt they will have 1.3

it has 1.2 as it is. the reaosn it doenst have 1.3 is because of the extra enginerring etc. that owudl have to go into 1.3. i bet by the later months the price will drop. why drop teh price and redesign it at the same time? they are going with teh 65nm CPU by then, but thats not a huge jump liek 1.3 would be

as for 1.3, dont see it comin even if they do switch to the supposed new 65's and lower the price.
