Well now that its summer, its really heating up here. So I'm looking into cooling options for my gaming room in particular.
My main question is, are cooling options such as "swamp coolers" safe for your electronics (big fans that use water to cool the air)? As I would suspect that moisture in the air may lead to problems.
The room is only about 100sq ft. Ps3, PC, and LCD being the main electronics I'm concerned about.
I have such coolers in other rooms in the house, and have never had problems with thier ability to cool the room, or thier effect on any electronics.
Will a cooling device like that, and subsequent added moister levels, lower the life-span of my electronics or possibly cause other serious issues? Is it better to go with a more expensive to run AC? Cost is obviously an issue or I wouldn't be asking :)
Any advice is appreciated!

Now that I think about it, while I'm already bugging you for advice :). Are there any common measures I should be undertaking to assure the longevity of my more expensive items like the ps3? I've heard of alot of problems with next-gen consoles, 360 in particular, and assume they are more "touchy" to standard miss-use then other items. Again, thanks for any advice :)
