Has anyone heard or read reviews about this subwoofer?

Thank you.

Very good sub in it's day. It's a little dated now. Doesn't go to the depths of the newer subs. RABOS is a room correction eq. Works well. You do need their "kit" or a good sound level meter to use it. You can go on to their site, put in your measurments and it will tell you how to set the sub.

If you can get a good deal on this sub, go for it. Maybe $ 500.00. But if it's more than that, there are better choices out there.

I own a pair of the Prelude MTS Subs and matching towers. Love the way they sound......

I would strongly advise NOT to acquire the subs unless you get a really great deal. Why?? Infinity is the worst out there when you need to have something repaired. I needed a subs woofer replaced under warranty. The place I sent it to for repair was Brandywine (one of Infinity's Premier service center's). They were great and professional. The problem is they couldn't get the part (woofer) from Infinity. I waited over 5 months. Infinity could care less. I should dig up some of the e-mails that went back and forth. Infinity is the worst. Contrast that to a company like KRELL. I bought a SACD Standard used off Audiogon. The former owner had it repaired one time under warranty. I had to have it repaired. Got it back in 9 days. The same problem happened again the next day. Patrick Bresnahan when I contacted him was very apologetic. He/KRELL replaced my SACD with a brand new updated SACD Standard V5.2 with another full 5 year warranty.....

If you go to Infinity's site. They have no parts in stock. The subs 120v aren't even listed. It will be a long wait if someone needs a repair......
