Does anyone own this model?

Sigmatek XM600

It is the only Upscaling DVD player I have found that has:
a DCDi chip by Faroudja
AND
a DVI output.

The reason I need a DVI output is that I want to convert it to VGA to suit my TV.

Thanks in advance.

So what are you going to use to convert DVI to VGA?

I believe the player has a DVI-I output.
This is handy as it can be used to connect a DVI to HDMI cable to, as well as a DVI to D-Sub VGA converter.

Fantastic!

On one Sigmatek site it mentioned the XM600's brother system OPPO [XYZ] but I never found this model.

Thanks guys!

Oppo 971H DVI is DVI-D, and won't convert to VGA according to the Oppo site.
Damn. I thought I was onto something there.

On the off chance that it does work....
Has anyone got an Oppo 971H, and tested a DVI to VGA converter on it?

DVI to VGA usually works with computers not DVD players.
Search the CRT Projector forums for DVD players with VGA out.
