So we usually get a couple rooms going each night with the AVS and AGE people. After the last patch that was released I and others have noticed significant lag in the game. Before it was only very little on my hosting times and well as the usual host Rakesh. Anyone else seeing an increase in lag and the lag screen of death pop up more frequently since the update?

PS I run no Torrents or anything during hosting times and I never had significant lag problem before this update.

Yup, it has been pretty bad the past few nights.

Maybe it's the XBL gremlins telling you to come play a game with client-side hit detection. :eek: ;)

I only noticed it that one night that you guys are referring to. Played for awhile last night, and didn't notice any. I forget who was hosting though...

I was just about to start a new thread about this!! It has been ridiculous for me the past few weeks in GOW.... I've tried everything but changing settings on my router.

Well I never had problems in the past. Just curious how widespread it is or if it is isolated to us.

Virtual I assume u are referring to Shadowrun? I have tried a few times to get into that game and I just can't. Hopefully once I get into the new house and take a weeks vacation (if I don't have a heart attack first).

Yeah, Quick. It's really a great game. The first couple of nights playing it you feel a bit confused and overwhelmed, but once you start working your way up the learning curve it is truly a blast. Much, much more varied and fun than Gears. No offense to Gears, of course, in which I have spent countless hours of gaming bliss. The sooner you jump in the better probably, because everyone else is still learning the ropes but definitely getting better. I'll keep spamming you and maybe you'll crack soon. :p

Yep GOW is boring now. Same old SHOTGUN duck SHOTGUN crap gets old quick.
