My Forza 2 keeps crashing on one particular race ... Road Atlanta in the Free Breathing Championship. I am trying to race with a fully souped up Honda Prelude (without turbo, supercharger, or engine swap - the H22 engine is one of the best ever made) and the game locks up every time at about the 3rd turn. I was afraid I was going to get my first Xbox 360 system failure but the game only locks up on this one race. I haven't tried the race with any other vehicles yet. Has anyone else had any similar problems?

I would say exchange the disk.

You can exchange the disk, but this may not help. You may have hard drive cache corruption, in which case you need to do the "system maintenance" procedure in order to purge the cache and all the patches.

i did the above, and it greatly helped. i do it every few months... just to clear things out. sure, you have to re-dl all the patches,but that's not a big deal.

i had locking up issues on oblivion, and did this, and they totally stopped, and i got much better framerates. :)

i had a few different glitches from a faulty disc.

returned the disc and everyhting is perfect now.

Cars and crashing just don't go good together... :D Return it!
