Got a quick question. I have an older DVD recorder, the philips DVDR72 dvd recorder. It has component inputs on the back, however it says that it can not use these. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the component inputs to work or a way to hack the thing?

What is the point of having component inputs if they cant be used?
