I am wondering if anyone else has seen this.

Every so often my EZ27 will think there is a chapter at the spot where I stop playing.

Going into navigator shows it is not there.

What it looks like is the last chapter shown in the navigator, which is in the right spot, gets moved when playing. Keep in mind this is just during play, if I go back into navigator it is where it should be.

In this case the last chapter is at 6:37, but when playing it keeps moving to 11:35.

If I move to before 11:35 and try to go back a chapter, it actually moves forward to 11:35.

bummer

UPDATE

Creating a new chapter after the problem location did not fix the problem.

Powering the unit off then on did clear the problem.

Hmmmm

UPDATE 2

Well I just recreated the problem and the solution.

Note: 3 hours of recording, 1 hour remaining, may be significant, need to test with more time remaining on disc.

NEED SOMEONE ELSE TO TEST.

Please try the following and report back.

Create a recording on DVD-RAM.

Create at least 1 chapter.

Move about 5 minutes past the chapter.

Press STOP

Press PLAY

Now try to go back to the chapter you created.

Let me know if you can go back to the chapter you created OR if it goes back to where you pressed STOP.
