Anywho...
I MAY be getting THIS (http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/productdetail.html?CNTID=200515&CTID=5001700) DVD player. And I (Once Again) don't know much about it other then it rocks! So can someone please rate the DVD Player and give me a little info on it? Thanks!
PS. What does "Upscaling" mean?

regardless, you'd be better off with an Oppo for the same money, if you are looking for an upscaling DVD player.
Upscaling is only important if youhave an HD tv. Do you have an HDtv?

hell... wish I had one. But i can't afford it! Due to my age of 13.
But maybe another.... 3-4 years or so...
And i'm not looking for an upscaling dvd player. Count on the fact that I don't know what it means. But I was just wondering if it was a plus on the system.

Yamaha DVD changers are notoriously slow when loading/changing dscs. That player has neither HDMI nor support for DVD-Audio or SA-CD. In general, Yamaha players are over-priced for what they are. If you're strapped for cash and want a 5-DVD-Changer, and don't need PAL-to-NTSC conversion, look for a Panasonic F87 or a Sony NC85 which can be had for about $100. Of the two, the Sony is an upconverting player with HDMI. I have one and am very happy with it. However, for your needs, it sounds like the Panny F87 would be a good choice for a 5 DVD-Changer.

If you don't have an HDTV and aren't planning on purchasing one during the life of the player, you don't need upscaling. It's a way of getting standard definition DVDs (the ones that have been available since the 90s) to work with the higher resolution TVs.
I second the Panny recommendation. I had its predecessor for years and loved it. I would still own it if I didn't buy an HDTV and needed upscaling.
