Currently, I have a Klispch RSW-15. Big huge beautiful discontinued sub with a 15" sub and 15" passive radiator. It's great for movies, although it's a little light for music but I think that's an issue with my yammy 2700 receiver.

Currently, I have sub hookups to 3 corners of my home theater. My outfitter is pushing me to get a pair of Paradigm PW2100 (799 each) and place them in diagonally opposite corners. He believes a pair of these would be the best bang for the buck. I was wondering if my RSW-15 could remain in the 3rd corner and provide additional bass where necessary?

I'm not adverse to price. I'm a bass-aholic and not adverse to other brands like SVS or JLaudio. I just want to make the right decision and I want to feel it rather than hear it. TIA

most hear claim the jl fathom 13 is the current leader might want to read the thread on it and craigsub
ranking thread.the only paradigm sub that i thought did everything right was the servo-15
the velodyne dd-18 is another top notch sub and the top offerings from svs and hsu.

Trebor, I trying to figure out why your sub would be adequate for movies, yet sound light for music. Typically as far as output goes, movies are usually more demanding on a sub than music. I wonder about the settings on your reciever.
