I seem to be having a problem with getting my HV20 into playback mode. The unit will switch on and record fine but rotating the switch to the Play position does nothing. This happened when I first got the unit a couple months ago but it went away until today.

Never had this problem. Sounds like a defect. I'm assuming you are already familiar with the little button in the center of the switch you have to press in order to move from one mode to the other...
