I'll be honest, I don't even have the full game yet, but this demo is incredible! Very party friendly too! Even the girls that me and my friends are associated with were digging it. Great colors on the projector over VGA and fast, frantic action. If you've read any of my posts in the past, you will note that I am a staunch supporter of getting a functional joystick and other arcade spinners and whatnot going on this service. The d pad is very tough to use in a fast precise game like this. Microsoft, for the love of god, will you just release a decent joystick for excellent games like this? It would be so much better and you'd make money (what a concept!!). But end of rant, I love this game. Anyone else?

Try using the analog stick. I find it to have pretty tight control.

Yeah -- the analog stick controls great IMHO. This game is a lot of fun, i bought the full game to support more games like this.

Instead of throwing us an emulated/ported version of the old game, give us a re-worked HD-resolution version of the game!

Game is lots of fun, and even though I was never really big into Pac-man back in the day although find this version very enjoyable and addictive, especially the 5 minute "championship" edition :)

I was bitter about a 10 dollar Pac-Man game at first, but I kept playing the demo over and over, and eventually plunked down the points for it. I love it. It is a tad overpriced (8 bucks would have been ideal), but a worthy download nonetheless.

Its the best and you have to use the stick the d-pad sucks real bad

I use my Hori DOA4 Stick for arcade style games, it works great.

this is the first XBLA game i purchased.. its pretty fun.

my highscore is 338k and change on one of the 10min ones..

i use the dpad personally, its about the only game that i have no issues with it.

Man I'm so addicted to Pac CE! My high is only 174k on the 5 minute event.

I agree, I love this game and have been playing it a lot. The only thing I would like to see different is an update for an untimed mode.

I don't think that an untimed mode would work. I usually finish the 5 minutes with 5-6 extra lives. Dieing isn't really a concern in the CE, getting as many points as fast as possible is.

Well you guys must be much more skilled than I am, because I still haven't been able to make it through that second 5 minute event!

Ive actually thought about that since I usually finish with several extra lives also, but all they would have to do is tweek the scoring some and fill the mazes completely with dots instead of patterns of dots. Also give an extra life every 50,000 instead of 20,000. I think it could make for a great 7th mode if they implemented it correctly.

I absolutely love this game and had my last achievement to go for the "championship mode 1". It took me forever to finish it, but I got lucky and got through it last night, but I was so pissed because my frickin achievment didn't unlock, what gives?!

Anyone else had this prob, or is there a targe score you have to get to fully unlock that specific achievement?

To the guy who was hating on me for loving the demo even though I didn't have the full game, I think I'd know what to expect if I got the full game, which is more absolutely incredible gameplay. I'll be buying it soon, though, so expect my name atop the leaderboards soon
