Yes Infinity Ward is back. The teams alternate just like the splinter cell series. This is the good team. Or should i say great team.

They should make them the only team. I didn't know they alternated. That's kinda strange because you would think you would want to keep the gameplay consistent.

I guess it must be some marketing or sales deal.

I cant wait for this one, with the crappy dev Treyarch of cod3 I wasnt even able to play it online, so I'm glad infinity ward is back....I'll say goodbye to BF2 MC when this comes out

Yeah something like that. While the 2nd team usually just does a expansion type sequel, Infinity Ward starts on new tech which gives them more time to produce a better game. It just sucks that the gamers get stuck with garbage in between years. Ok back to the clip. When he switches to night vision black hawk down comes to mind omg i need a demo or something.

i thought 3 was just as good as two... not a huge step up, but great none-the-less.

they might alternate teams to keep the subject matter from getting stale. you'll burn out eventually if you keep doing the same thing at the intensity developers work.

Yeah it's gonna be 60fps. In the feature story in game informer they said they took out anything that put the game under 60fps.

COD3 was almost a totally different game in my opinion from COD/COD2. Played more like battlefield game which I'm not a huge fan of. Definitely looking forward to COD4 as this is my favourite series at the moment!

From that video this is a must buy.

You hit on it right on the nail. With most of the current games, production on the next game begins when the current one is almost out the door. It's likely that Infinity Ward was working on CoD 4 simultaneously as the team doing CoD 3, and that's why the third wasn't as nice. So Infinity works on the "prime" projects, while the other developer essentially extends.

In IGN's preview last week they said that this game was in contention to be the best shooter of 2007. As much as I loved what Infinity Ward did with COD2 I was skeptical considering that games like Halo 3 and Crysis were also due this year.

But, after seeing the gameplay I understand why such a claim could be a possibility. The preview is a good read if you are interested in this game.

WOW that looked great. But what else can you expect from Infinity Ward?

Jumped to #1 on my list. You can tell it's a Call of Duty game. If I had no idea about this game, never even heard of it being made, and I saw this video, I would automatically say, "this is Call of Duty, but modern". I don't know what I'm trying to get at, just that it looks like a Call of Duty game, which it is. Graphically, voices, explosions galore, nearly same in-game instructions. --I'm used to the title "Call of Duty" as a WWII shooter, so when I think of Call of Duty 4, I automactically think of WWII, then I'm thrown off by it being modern.
