Has anyone heard any rumors about a little larger X-sub from AV123? I'm not trying to start a rumor, I'm curious.

I haven't seen anything on a 10" X-sub but there is one mention of an X-series "minimate" on the new product wiki site. 10" driver, 12" passive radiator. The entry dates from February. Whether it comes to fruition is anyone's guess. There is much more talk about the upcoming X-series 15" MFW-15.

Nothing like speculation to make for some great entertainment. ;)

Of course most of that has changed subtly since that time. Minor correction; the MiniMate concept is not x-series. It will be part of the Strata product line.

The bass section of the x-pls (~x-cs with sub in the bottom-looks much like current x-mtm) has a few options in the running right now. It may share parts with MiniMate, it may not. There are always more products in the pipeline, but way too soon to say which ones will become available and exactly in which form that will be. Feel free to dream away though... :cool:

The AV123 wet paint site has a page on the X-plosive sub for $399. Unfortunately it's another floorspace hog subwoofer. It has the woofer and passive radiators that Ubersanger and Fnord mentioned.

I was looking forward to a X-sub big brother along the lines of the Outlaw LMF-1 compact and the HSU STF-2 with the woofer and port facing down. Like all the other AV123 products it will look gorgeous and they'll sell a sh..boat load.
